Amina's Wonder Spice 325g Aknee Palau Masala 325g

Cooking Tips:

  • Use 1kg mutton or chicken, wash well and allow to drain.
  • Braise 2 finely sliced, medium sized onions until golden brown.
  • Add in mutton/ chicken and add two medium sized grated tomatoes.
  • Add in 4 tablespoons of Amina's Wonder Spice 325g Aknee Palau Masala with 250ml buttermilk.
  • Add 3 cups of water and allow to cook for +- 20 minutes (10 minutes for chicken). 
  • Add in 6 medium sized potatoes and cook for +- 10 minutes.
  • Add freshly chopped coriander and fresh green chillies.
  • Add 2 cups of parboiled rice and +- 3 cups of water.
  • Allow to cook for a further 10 minutes. 
  • Seal the pot with foil before closing the lid.
  • Place pot in the oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes allowing to steam until done.
  • Allow to simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes.
  • Serve with hot vegetables, yoghurt dressing and salads.
