Make your prawns ready to cook, exactly how you prefer them.

For just R10 per box, SHAMI Seafood can prepare eligible prawns before delivery. Depending on the prawn product you choose, preparation may include cutting, deveining, head removal or shell removal.

Simply select your preferred preparation option directly on the eligible prawn product page. We will take care of the rest.

Prawn Preparation Options

Depending on the product, available options may include:

• Cut and deveined, shell on
• Cut and deveined, shell off
• Peeled and deveined
• Head removal
• Shell removal
• Custom preparation requests

Products that are already headless, deveined or peeled will only show the preparation options that are still relevant.

How It Works

• Choose an eligible prawn product
• Select Clean & Prepare or the available preparation option
• Choose how many boxes you would like prepared
• Select your preferred preparation style
• Add your prawns to cart

The R10 preparation charge applies per box prepared.

Good to Know

Pack weight refers to the product weight before any additional preparation. Removing heads or shells will reduce the final delivered weight.

Not all prawn products require additional preparation. Products that are already peeled, deveined or ready to cook will be clearly identified on the product page.
